Video invitation or event page? Choose the right format

A short film sets the feeling. An event page holds the details. A still invitation gives guests a simple image to keep. You can choose one format or combine them, depending on how much information your event needs.

Choose a still when simplicity matters

A JPG is easy to include in a personal message and lets guests read the details at their own pace. It suits a straightforward date, time and place. Text inside the image is not a working button, so include any map or reply link in the message too. Once the image has been shared, a revised version needs to be sent again.

Choose a film for the introduction

A video invitation can reveal a portrait, move separate objects and give typography a sense of timing. Our samples are short, silent portrait films. Keep key details visible long enough to read and provide a still or written recap. Check the exported file in the messaging app you intend to use: playback and compression can differ. A downloaded MP4 does not collect replies or update itself after guests receive it.

Choose a page when there is more to explain

An event page gives a schedule, directions and useful links their own space. It can be a better home for multiple venues, travel notes or a longer introduction. Guests need an internet connection, and you should confirm how long the page will remain hosted. Updates depend on the service and its editing process; they are not automatically included in every package.

Know what you are paying for

For a casual gathering, a plain message or a free event tool may meet the need. A paid design service makes sense when the artwork, motion or coordinated presentation matters to you. Compare the actual deliverables, revision scope and hosting term. Ask whether guest responses, reminders or ticketing are included rather than treating “website” as a promise of all three.

The proposed $79 motion package includes a 12-second silent MP4 and matching 1080 × 1920 JPG with one supplied photo and one consolidated wording/crop revision. A website is not included. Matching event pages remain future concepts. Availability and delivery timing must be confirmed before payment; checkout is not open.

Common questions

Can I use a film and page together? Yes. Send the film as the introduction and include the page link in the same message.

Can guests reply through the film? Not inside the MP4. Give them a working contact or response link.

Does editing the sample order a finished invitation? No. The preview changes wording on your device only. A downloaded project brief is not a submitted order.
